Keep On Chugging
by Forrest Mozer

I was a graduate student at Cal Tech with Marvin and we became good friends over the course of time. Because his lifestyle was different from mine, I was intrigued by him when I first met him. And then I discovered that girls felt the need to mother him, and so I tried to adopt that strategy. This was not a strategy for Marvin, it was just the combination of his looks, charm, and seeming innocence, that did the trick. So I envied him throughout our association and I was always careful not to become interested in any girls that interested him. I am happy to note that he has not lost this attractiveness, although with the current color of his hair, I suppose that women might feel more like granddaughtering him than mothering him. At any rate, Marvin, congratulations, and keep on chugging.
